Pencils Down, Volume Up! - SproutSpoken at Nansledan Arts Festival
SproutSpoken and Nansledan Arts Festival invite you to a celebratory evening of community and connection through voice and verse! In this, the final event of the inaugural festival, SproutSpoken transforms Nansledan Primary School school hall into a space to share the creative voices of the Nansledan community (and beyond) - through song, poetry and spoken word.
SproutSpoken open-mic nights provide the perfect platform for wordsmiths of all shapes and sizes to get their words 'up on their feet' to live, breathe and be shared in the company of a live audience. Along the way, Dicky Souray brings his own brand of warm, welcoming and playful hosting. Expect local voices, along with those who have travelled from further afield.
Sign up to the open-mic and share your words! Whether it’s your first time or you're a regular performer, there is lots of support and encouragement. If you're taking part, an open-mic slot is free - you just need to book a participant ticket and include a few details about yourself when you checkout. Open-mic slots are available to book up until 6pm on the day before the event. You may be able to get a slot on the night, but preference will be given to those who have booked one in advance.
